Two teens, who were members of the “Raw Dawgz” gang, were convicted and sentenced to life in prison for the 2007 drive-by shooting that killed a Tampa man at a home along E. Caracas Street.  Prosecutors said that 19-year-old LaBronx Bailey planned the gang-related shooting that left 19-year-old Andre Coachman dead.  At least four rounds were fired from the pick-up truck, one piercing Andre’s head.  Prosecutors believed that Esteban was the shooter as Esteban bragged about the drive-by for several months after.  Esteban even bought a newspaper and laughed at the details the police had wrong.

LaBronx, along with 17-year-old Esteban Rivera, and 17-year-old Tra Evan Lineberger, fired shots at Andre, who was walking to the store with his brother and friend.  They blamed the shooting on a neighborhood rivalry that LaBronx had with a group known as the 32nd Street Boys.  LaBronx wanted revenge against some people in Andre’s neighborhood, who LaBronx believed had beaten up his cousin.
